Meet Dr. Mathew Thomas Maliael
Dr. Mathew graduated from Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in 2018. He was always enthralled by the elegance of creating beautiful smiles through Orthodontics. It was a dream come true for him to be accepted into the prestigious Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals Masters program in Orthodontics in 2019.
His areas of particular interest, in addition to Comprehensive Orthodontic treatments, include temporary skeletal anchorage devices, functional appliances, aligners, lingual orthodontics, cleft care, and surgical orthodontics.
His pursuit of technological innovation (Customised Jig for Labial Orthodontic Bonding) resulted in the device being chosen for patency. Her research acumen has resulted in over 10 publications in indexed Scopus and Web of Science journals.
He is currently researching 3D printing in orthodontics as well as the potential application of Dynamic Navigation in Orthodontics.
